STEP 1. Place masking tape on the radio and trim bezel
to protect from scratches during installation. (Photo 1).
Insert the Dash Trim Removal Tool behind the upper-left
corner of the radio bezel and pry outward to release a
retainer clip. Working the tool in both directions,
continue to release clips until the bezel can be pulled
outward to reveal a 7mm bolt to the right of the radio.
(Photo 2).
STEP 2. Remove the 7mm bolt that holds the radio in
place. Carefully slide the Legend between the radio and
trim bezel. Place the Legend mounting hole over a
centering pin, next to the 7mm bolt. (Photo 2). Replace
the 7mm bolt and tighten.
STEP 3. Re-assemble the dash in reverse order,
remembering to remove the masking tape. To mount a
device to the Legend using the mounting tape, clean the
surface with the prep kit according to instructions. This
completes the installation of your Legend.
